Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Coordinator: Helps Program Director recruit and train volunteers, selection process, and match volunteers with volunteer opportunities.
Receptionist: Answer phones and greet the general public. Assemble information packets.
Licensed Counselors: Provide counseling sessions for individuals and groups.
Maintenance/Landscape Workers: Help maintain the grounds and home by completing repairs and landscaping (mowing, planting flowers)
Educators: Conduct various educational sessions. (life skills and parenting classes) For example: money management, budgeting, anger management, nutrition, computer courses
Grant Writers: Conduct research for funding opportunities and write grant proposals.
Client Advocate: Represent residents at Board meetings. Act as a liaison between residents, staff, and Board of Directors.
Attorney: Provide legal counsel.
CPA/Bookkeeper: Provide bookkeeping and auditing services.
Blessing Closet Coordinator: Organize donated clothes and personal hygiene items for residents.
Technology Consultant: Provide technical assistance for computer problems.
Special Events Coordinator and Volunteers: Coordinate special events. Help plan special events.
Health Fair Representative: Set up information booth and represent Hannah’s Haven at community health fairs.
Mentors: Provide one-on-one mentoring to a woman who is in recovery from substance abuse.
Chaperones/Drivers for Church Service: Drive women to church on Wednesday night and Sunday morning services.
Drivers: Help transport residents to medical appointments.
